Find Desktop is integrated with a powerful "full-text" retrieval engine, supported by O.C.R. (optical character recognition) engine. It allows you to search for text, either one word or an exact phrase contained in electronic or image documents. Other important functions are the mail indexing system, the enhanced scanning functions (with virtual annotation capabilities) as well as the management of the classification fields associated with documents.

Find Desktop supports the most common electronic document formats (Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc..) with search capabilities also in ZIP files.

Functionality available in the Standard version:
  • * Query your local or LAN (Local Area Network) folders to find text contained in images, PDF, Word, Excel, ZIP files
  • * Search for text in emails and file attachments. This functionality is available for Outlook, Outlook Express and Eudora email applications.
